The Kenya Cycling Race Series (KCRS) is built on a foundation of professionalism, fairness, and athlete welfare. Every event within the series is governed by clear standards to ensure a safe, competitive, and well-organised racing environment.

All participants are required to register officially and adhere to established guidelines, ensuring consistency and credibility across the entire series. Strict verification processes are in place to guarantee fair competition across all rider categories.

KCRS promotes a culture of respect, inclusion, and sportsmanship. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, misconduct, or unsportsmanlike behaviour—creating an environment that reflects positively on our partners and the wider cycling community.

Safety remains a top priority. All riders are required to meet mandatory safety standards, including the use of approved protective gear and adherence to race regulations. Our events are designed to minimise risk while delivering a high-quality racing experience.

To protect the integrity of competition, KCRS enforces strict fair-play policies. Any form of cheating, course manipulation, or unauthorised assistance results in immediate disqualification.

Team Competition Format

KCRS features a structured team competition that encourages inclusivity, strategy, and consistent performance throughout the season.

​

Points are awarded based on the top five finishers from each team, with a required gender balance that ensures both male and female athletes contribute meaningfully to overall results. This format promotes diversity while maintaining a competitive edge.

All riders compete under a unified points system, creating a level playing field across the series. At the end of the season, the team with the highest cumulative points—having participated in the required events—is crowned the KCRS Champion Team.
